How to: Prep and Paint an Engine with Aerosol Spray Cans

This week I’m showing how to prep, prime, and paint the 20R engine of this 1980 Toyota, right here in my residential garage, using aerosol paints.

I previously painted the engine bay and I’m extremely happy with the way it turned out.  I can’t just install this old dirty crusty Rusty engine into that nice clean engine bay so today I’m going to strip it down of all its accessories, remove this very ugly factory header, and clean this block and paint it and I’ll also clean up these accessories while I have those off and do something with this dirty valve cover as well.

The 2k Engine Paint is from https://erapaints.com/
