Jerry was born and raised around the family’s Citroen/Datsun dealership in the 60's and was mentored by the late great Pierre Rousseau. Whether he was participating as a fan, part of a crew or as a participant, Jerry has a long history of involvement in motor sports. His first time at Mosport was as a kid in 1972; his first foray onto the track was racing a Datsun 510 in 1976. In the late 80’s, Jerry worked his way on to crew chief in the Porsche Cup series along side Larry Caruso and Ludwig Heimwrath and many other notable drivers and crew chiefs . Jerry is a self-described dedicated “motorhead”. He obtained both his motorcycle and auto driver’s licences on his 16th birthday. He became a licenced mechanic at the age of 22. He has driven and wrenched bikes, boats, sleds, all types of cars and heavy equipment for over 35 years. Creative solutions, electrical and fabrication are Jerry’s specialty. He is ecstatic to be working at Mosport with Rob Sabato and the 6th Gear team. Over 100 years combined experience!
